Four new Honorary Fellows join 51爆料
The Governing Body has elected four eminent 51爆料 alumni to Honorary Fellowships of the College.
Sir Alex Allan KCB (1969) has had a distinguished career in public service. His appointments have included Principal Private Secretary to the Prime Minister, British High Commissioner to Australia, Government e-Envoy, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Justice, Chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee and Head of Intelligence Assessment. From 2011 until his resignation in 2020, he was the Prime Minister鈥檚 independent advisor on ministerial standards.
Professor Margaret Faultless Hon RAM Hon FBE FTCL ARCM (1980) is an internationally renowned specialist in historical musical performance practice, both as a violinist and director. Since 1989, she has been a co-leader of The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, often directing the orchestra and playing a significant role in their education programme for young professionals. She is also a regular director of the European Union Baroque Orchestra and a number of other orchestras.
Anne Glover CBE FREng FRSE (1973) is one of the leading figures in the UK Venture Capital industry. She co-founded Amadeus Capital Partners in 1997. She is a former Chairman of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and Invest Europe, and a member of the UK Government鈥檚 Council for Science and Technology. She was appointed Non-Executive Director of the Court of the Bank of England in 2018.
Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton KCB FREng (1988) was appointed Chief of the Air Staff (head of the Royal Air Force) and Aide-de-Camp to His Majesty the King in June 2023. He is the first engineer to lead the RAF. As Assistant Chief of Air Staff, he was responsible for the strategic coherence and coordination of the Royal Air Force and planning for the RAF100 centenary programme.
